Margaret Canafax

Margaret Mary Fabregas Canafax, a resident of Houma, died Wednesday at 6:17 a.m. Visitation will be Friday, March 27, 2009 from 9:00 a.m. until funeral time at Holy Rosary Catholic Church. A mass of christian burial will be said at 11:00 a.m., Friday, March 27, 2009 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Interment will be at Terrebonne Memorial Park. She is survived bya son, Frank C. Canafax, Jr. of Baton Rouge, and three daughters, Linda Canafax, Mrs. Luis (Margaret) Vargas, and Karen Borne of Houma; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank C. Canafax, Sr., her parents, Martin and Annie Laura Fabregas; four brothers, Ernest, Frank, Martin and Sidney Fabregas; and two sisters, Mrs. Lenore LaCoste and Mrs. Annie Laura Dishman. She was a parishioner of Holy Rosary Catholic Church.
