Velma Henry

Velma Josephine Collins Henry, 90, a native of Terrebonne Parish and resident of Houma, died Monday, March 23, 200 at 12:10 a.m. Visitation will be Tuesday, March 24, 2009 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Chauvin Funeral Home and on Wednesday, March 25, 2009 from 10:00 a.m. to service time at Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 2:00 p.m. with burial in the church cemetery. She is survived by her daughter Veral Hutchinson and husband Eldon of Bourg; Sheral Pitre and husband Keith of Houma; six grandchildren, Belinda Janeski, Jason Hutchinson, Chantel Charpentier, Shawn Pitre, Tracy Pitre and Brett Pitre; six great-grandchildren, Bren Charpentier, Annaliese Charpentier, Madelyn Pitre, Lillie Pitre, Julia Pitre and Brianna Pitre; one step-grandchild, Paul Janeski. She is preceded in death by her husband, Euince Henry; parents, Eugene and Eveline Luke Collins, brothers, Freddie, Camille, Myrtile, Jimmy, Emile, Connely and Allen Collins and four sisters, Eugenia Authement, Victoria Authement, Verna Authement and Myrtila LeBlanc.
