Florence was a nurse’s aide at Terrebonne General Hospital for many years while raising her eight children. She then worked alongside her husband at Fakier’s Jewelers and then at Sidney’s Watch Repairs. Mom loved cooking and spending time with family and friends. Her family was special to her; as special as she was to her family. Flo enjoyed sewing, painting and crafts. She loved to cook and bake, especially for the holidays. Florence had a very generous spirit and would give anything to those in need. She was our angel on earth and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
A special thank you is extended to Jill, Paul, Ashley, Kena, Vera and Deacon Joey of the Hospice of South Louisiana for their excellent care of our mom, with the guidance of Julie Rhodes and Dr. Jules Dupont.
She was a parishioner of Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church.
