Michelle Ann Songe, 37, died Monday, October 12, 2015 at 01:10 PM.  She was a native of Lockport, LA and resident of Gray, LA. Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 15, 2015 from 5:00pm to 9:00pm at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc.  and on Friday, October 16, 2015 from 8:00 to service time. at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. Funeral Service will be held on Friday, October 16, 2015 at 11:30am at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. Burial: Garden of Memories Cemetery She is survived by her husband,  Cory Songe, parents, Doyt and Geraldine "Jeannie" Janes, brothers, Doyt Allan Janes and wife Tracy Plaisance Janes, and Kevin Michael Janes and wife Michelle Templet Janes,  sister, Angela Marie Janes Trahan and husband Chris Michael Trahan, sisters-in-law, Carrie S. Albert and husband Eddie, and Cathy S. Crochet and husband Jerry.   She was a member of Living Word Church.  She was passionate about caring for others as a dedicated Registered Nurse.  She was a kind and helpful caring person who consoled other cancer patients; even through her illness.  She loved children, especially her nieces and nephews.  She enjoyed camping, traveling, playing basketball, watching the Saints, and LSU football.
