Jerry Wingard

Jerry Alan Wingard, age 70, of Houma, passed away Wednesday, October 7, 2015.  Born in Pampa, Texas, he was the son of the late Norman Elmer Wingard and Willie Doris Dixon Wingard. Jerry was a retired supervisor from Halliburton and was of the Presbyterian faith. He is survived by his former wife and the mother of his children, Vicky Ann Robertson Wingard, son, Jesse Wingard and wife Cara, of Austin Texas, daughter, Shannon Wingard – Miller and husband Andrew “Andy” of Brooklyn, NY, brother, Charles “Lee” Wingard and wife, Joan of Mobile, Alabama, sister, Deborah Ramsey and husband Eddie of Lauderdale, MS.   Mr. Wingard enjoyed photography, Harley Davidson Memorabilia, and spending time with his beloved pet dogs. The family will be receiving friends from 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 14, 2015 at First Presbyterian Church of Bayou Blue in Gray. The Funeral Service will begin at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, October 14, 2015 at First Presbyterian Church of Bayou Blue with the Rev. Kristina Peterson officiating. The family requests that in lieu of flowers memorials be made in memory of Jerry Wingard to First Presbyterian Church of Bayou Blue located at 3200 Hwy 316, Gray, LA 70359.
