Eunice Lovell

Mrs. Eunice Marie Lovell, age 86, of Grand Caillou passed away on Monday, October 5, 2015. Born in Theriot, LA, she was the daughter of the late Artemese and Wallace Verret and was married to her husband of 67 years Lawrence Joseph Lovell who survives. She was a longtime homemaker, resident of Houma and was of the Catholic faith. Mrs. Lovell is survived by her husband of Theriot, daughters, Elta Duet and husband Mike, Bessie Solet and husband Easton, Sarah Naquin and husband Mike, Caroline Portier and husband Troy, son, Junior Lovell and wife Ann and daughter-in-law Regina Lovell. Twenty one grandchildren, three step-grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren and one great- great grandchild and two step-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, sons, Norris and Horace Lovell and brothers, Helias and Julius Verret. The family will be receiving friends from 5:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 7, 2015 at their home located at 130 Vivian Street, Houma, LA 70363. A funeral procession will leave at 9:00 a.m from the family home on Thursday, September 8, 2015 going to St. Eloi Catholic Church in Bayou Dularge. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 8, 2015 at St. Eloi Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Eloi Catholic Church on Thursday, October 8, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in St. Eloi Catholic Church Cemetery.
