Eddie Joseph Chaisson

Eddie Joseph Chaisson, 84 a native of Montegut and resident of Houma on Tuesday February 24, 2009 at 9:15 pm. Visitation will be Thursday, February 26, 2009 from 5:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. at the funeral home and on Friday, February 27, 2009 from 8:00 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. at the funeral home with services at 2:00 p.m. at Living Word Church. Mr. Chaisson is survived by a son, David Chaisson and wife Cindy of Houma; daughters, Rebecca Greenwood and husband Michael of Meridian, Mississippi, Barbara Schulman and husband Richard of New York, New York. Two grandchildren; Heather Bergeron and Kristopher Chaisson. Mr. Chaisson was preceded in death by his parents, Edison and Ophelia Hotard Chaisson, son, Thomas Chaisson, brother, Horace Chaisson and sister Eunice Landry. Mr. Chaisson was a retired welder from Avondale Shipyards. Mr. Chaisson was a U.S. Army World War II Veteran. Mr. Chaisson was a member of Living Word Church of Houma.
