Ray John Usie, 84, died Thursday, September 10, 2015 at 04:04 PM.
He was a native and resident of Houma, LA.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 19, 2015 from 9:00 AM until service time at St. Bernadette Soubirous Catholic Church with a Memorial Service at 10:00 AM at St. Bernadette Soubirous Catholic Church. Burial will be held in St. Francis de Sales. Cemetery #2.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Patricia Everett Usie; son, Kenny Usie and wife, Ashley, and Scott Usie; daughter, Dana Usie Cooke and husband, Steven; daughter-in-law, Debbie Usie; sisters, Elaine "Tootie" Levron and husband, Robert, and Merril Daigle; grandchildren, Josh Usie, Bryson Usie and Connor Cooke; great-grandson, Eli Scott Usie.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Junius and Della Chauvin Usie; sister, Joan Hauser.
He was a parishioner of St. Bernadette Soubirous Catholic Church.
He worked in the oilfield industry for over 40 years. He enjoyed golf and the New Orleans Saints. He will be remembered for his sense of humor and love of family. He will be greatly missed by all and will be always in our hearts. Special thanks the Terrebonne General Medical Center Staff.
