Barry Champange

Barry Jude "Bubbles" Champagne, 56 on Sunday, February 8, 2009 at 12:14 a.m. He was a native and resident of Houma. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, February 18, 2009 at Maria Immacolata. A memorial mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. at the church. He is survived by his wife, Susan Hebert Champagne of Houma; parents, Thaddeus and step-mother, Lydia Theriot Marcel Champagne; sons, Richard Champagne of Houma; sisters, Monica Nancy Trahan and husband Tommy, Peggy Aucoin and husband Tony; brother, Chris Champagne and step-brothers, Steven, David and Rick Marcel of Houma; step-sisters, Amy St. Martin, Debra Champagne and Cathy Jerveaux all of Houma; numerous nieces and nephews and two beloved pets, Chili and Lucky and many friends. Preceded in death, mother, Ella Mae Chauvin Champagne and step-sister, Linda LeBlanc. He was a licensed Aircraft Mechanic for Shannon Seaplance Base. He was a founding member of EAA Chapter 513. He loved to fly and had is private pilot license, he loved to fish. He was an Aerial Coordinator on six major movies which carried him around the world. He had a passion for restoring old cards. He loved his family and friends very much.
