Oliver Peter Scott, 84, died Saturday, July 18, 2015 at 12:30am. He was a native and resident of Houma, LA. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 21, 2015 from 4:00pm to 9:00pm at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. and Wednesday, July 22, 2015 from 9:00am to 11:00am at Annunziata Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, July 22, 2015 at 11:00am at Annunziata Catholic Church with burial at Holy Family Catholic Church Cemetery. He is survived by his Son: Brent Scott and wife Janell, Daughter: Ronithia Lirette and husband Roy, Brothers: Milford Scott, Magnus Scott, Kenneth Scott, Grandchildren: Chirstopher Bonvillain Sr., Brandon Scott, Jeremy Scott, Kimberly Ponville, Trenton "T.J." Scott, and Ryan Lirette, and 17 Great Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his 1st Wife: Merline DeHart Scott, and 2nd Wife: Ismay LeCompte Scott, Parents: Freddie Paul Scott and Augustine Benoit Scott, Son: Michael Scott, Brothers: Leroy Scott, Jessie Scott, Earl Scott, Infant Peter "Reggie" Ray J. Scott, and Sister: Orselie Dupre. He was a parishioner of Annunziata Catholic Church. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
