Daisy Agnes Hebert Champagne, 92, died Saturday, July 18, 2015 at 04:15 AM. She was a native and resident of Houma, LA. Visitation will be held on Monday, July 20, 2015 from 5:00 PM - 9:00 PM at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. with a rosary at 7:00 PM and Tuesday, July 21, 2015 at 8:00 AM until funeral time at Maria Immacolata Catholic Church with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM. Burial will be held in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery #2. She is survived by her sons, Conrad J Champagne and wife Dean, and Abbie P Champagne and wife, Mary; daughters, Meredith Schilling, Kathleen Meylian and husband, Gerald, Angelic Fallarie Hebert and husband, Eugene, Ina Dupre and husband, Johnny, and Orlanda Champagne Broussard; sister-in-law, Beverly LeBouef; 9 grandchildren; 2 step grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; 9 step great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Elton "Rabbit" Champagne; parents, Abbie Pierre and Angelique Marie Lirette Hebert; brothers, Raymond, Dennis, and Philton Hebert; son-in-law, James Broussard. She was a member/parishioner of Maria Immacolata Catholic Church. She enjoyed cooking holiday meals and spending time with family and friends. The family would like to thank Heritage Manor Nursing Home, Dr. Dickie Haydel, Dr. Scott Haydel, and Haydel Memorial Hospice.
