Gerald Lee Dupre, 74, died Thursday, July 9, 2015 at 11:24PM. He was a native of Houma, LA and resident of Houma, LA. Visitation will be held on Monday, July 13, 2015 from 9:00am to 11:00am at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. Liturgy of the Word will be held on Monday, July 13, 2015 at 11:00am at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. Burial: St. Francis de Sales Cemetery #2. He is survived by his sister Gail Dupre and brothers Harry Dupre Jr. and wife Val, Raymond A. Dupre and wife Claudette, and Mark D. Dupre and wife Janet, all of Houma, LA. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his wife Nina Turner Dupre, Mother Edna Mae Buquet Dupre Naquin, and son James M. Dupre. Jerry was a retired employee of M.P.H. Inc., a local survey company. The family would like to thank Dr. Russell Henry and the staff of Bayou Home Care, T.G.M.C., and A.M.G. Specialty Hospital.
