Robert Adam Trosclair, Sr, 82, a native of Lafitte, LA and resident of Franklin, LA for 44 years who passed away peacefully at his home on Thursday, July 2, 2015 with his family by his side.

Three children Debbie Troscalir Lancaster and spouse Lane Lancaster of Broussard, LA, Robert Adam Trosclair, Jr of Franklin, LA and Robert "Fanny" Trosclair Ecuer and spouse Kevin Ecuer of Franklin, LA, one granddaughter, Abigail Marie Ecuer, one sister Anna Mae Champagne and one brother Raymond "Ivy" Trosclair and numerous nieces and nephews
He was preceded in death by his,

five brothers, Calvin, Murphy, Albert, Abbie and Percy Trosclair,

Robert Trosclair, Sr was a boat captain for 66 years. He worked for North Bank Towing for 58 years. He traveled to many countries during his career and worked in the North Sea for several years. He rescued numerous men out of the water during Hurrican Roxanne out of Mexico and a book was written about the experience named “All the Men in the Sea”.
