Warren John Rodrigue, 83, a native of Franklin and resident of Bayou Black, died Thursday, Jan. 29, 2009.
Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. today at Chauvin Funeral Home and from 9 a.m. until service time Monday at St. Anthony Catholic Church. Mass will be at 11 a.m. at the church, with burial in the church cemetary.
He is survived by his wife, Eula Savoie Rodrigue; two sons Hayes Rodrigue and wife, Helen, of Scottsbluff, Nebraska, Philip Rodrigue and wife, Nancy, of Lafayette; one daughter Mary Billiot and husband, Jimmie, of Gray; two brothers Ronald Rodrigue of Bayou Black, and Emmett Rodrigue and wife, Doris, of Bayou Black; two grandchildren John Rodrigue and Kristy Davis and husband, Joel; four step-grandchildren Tessa Granger and husband, Todd, Nick Nelson and wife, Emily, Heidi Brown and husband, Todd, and Jim Billiot; two step-great-grandchildren Devin Brown and Seth Granger.
He was preceded in death by his parents John Albert Rodrigue and Della Hebert Rodrigue.
He was a carpenter.
He graduated from Terrebonne High School in 1942 and attended Washington State University and LSU. He served as a Corporal in the Army Air Corps during World War II. He is a member of the VFW.
