Agnes Josephine Pitre, 94, a native of Houma and resident of Bourg, died at 12:50 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 28, 2009.
Funeral service was held at 10 a.m. today at St. Ann Catholic Church in Bourg, with burial in Holy Rosary Cemetery.
She is survived by one daughter, Edith Josephine Pitre Voisin and companion, Paul Savoie; five grandchildren, Melinda Voisin LeBlanc and husband, Ricky, of Humble, Texas, Amanda Voisin Baker and husband, Ron, of Maricopa, Ariz., Wendell Voisin and wife, Tina Crochet Voisin, of Houma, Tracy Voisin Graves and husband, Dane, of Boling, Texas; and Bryan Voisin of Ashland; 11 great-grandchildren, Robert Lee LeBlanc and wife, Carmellia Hez LeBlanc of Provo, Utah, Ricky LeBlanc II and wife, Pennie Kilgore LeBlanc of Humble, Melanie LeBlanc Masten and husband, Brandon, of Humble, David LeBlanc of Humble, Amanda Sevin Young and husband, Cody, of Houma, Gerad Baker of Maricopa, Justin Baker of Maricopa, Mandy Baker Buttry and husband, Shem, of Bloomington, Ind.. Calen Baker of Bloomington, Lindsey Mayet of Houma, and Cory Graves and wife, Shara Bender Graves of Wharton, Texas; 10 great-great-grandchildren, Hayley LeBlanc of Provo, Chastity LeBlanc of Humble, Ricky LeBlanc III of Houston, Linzee Hernandez of Humble, Zoey Masten of Humble, Lilly Young of Houma, Allison Van Leeuen of Bloomington, Austin Van Leeuen of Bloomington, Ashley Buttry of Bloomington and Cooper Graves of Wharton; and former son-in-law, Louis "Sonny" Voisin and wife, Nettie, of Gibson.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Justillian Mark Pitre; her parents, Herbert Pitre and Mary Babin Pitre; three brothers, Gilton, Willis and Louis Pitre; and four sisters, Olivia Pitre Pitre, Bessie Pitre Melancon, Marie Pitre Baus and Helen Pitre Klingham.
She was a homemaker and a parishioner of St. Ann Catholic Church.
