Joyce Augustine Hotard Marcel, 95, died Monday, June 8, 2015. She was a native of Houma, LA and resident of Houma, LA. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 10, 2015 from 5:00pm until 9:00pm at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. and Thursday, June 11, 2015 from 9:00am to 11:00am at St. Louis Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, June 11, 2015 at 11:00am at St. Louis Catholic Church. Burial: St. Louis Catholic Church Cemetery. She is survived by her, Daughter: Ruth Thomas and husband James, Grandchildren: Angela Finlan, Alyssa Bergeron, and Amanda Manno and husband Todd, Gabrielle Manno, Great Grandchildren: Michael Larpenter, Yvonne Russell, Blake Russell, Kyle Finlan, Luke Manno, Jake Manno, Beau Manno, John Ross Manno, and She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her, Spouse: Horace Marcel, Parents: Ernest and Clara Gros Hotard, Great Grand daughter: Bianca Jade Lindholm, Brothers: Alban Hotard, Alred Hotard, Earny Hotard, Faris Hotard, and Infant Jean Hotard, Sisters: Lorena Brown, Mildred Softley, Marie Theriot, and Louise Moore. She was a member/parishioner of St. Louis Catholic Church. She took her greatest pleasure in the lives of her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She enjoyed reading and completing puzzles.
