Dorothy Marie Guidry, 91, died Friday, June 5, 2015. She was a native of Belle River, LA and resident of Houma, LA for over 80 years. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 10, 2015 from 9:00 am until service time at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, June 10, 2015 at 10:00 at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. Burial: St. Francis de Sales Cemetery #2. She is survived by her, sons, Bobby Fanguy (Cindy) Haysville, North Carolina and Nathan Guidry of Houma, LA, daughter, Darlene Allred (Wendell) of Sugar Land, Texas, nine grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, brother, Raymond Gaudet of Arcadia, LA, and nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her, parents, Anatole Gaudet, Jr. and Agnes Helinda Leonard, husbands, Reynold Fauguy and Leslie Guidry, son, Dennis Fanguy, brothers, Charles and Arnold Gaudet, and sisters, Alma Drott and Mazie Smith. She was a parishioner of St. Francis De Sales Cathedral of Houma. Dorothy was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She will be deeply missed by her family and many friends.
