Barbara Ann Thomas Smith, 66, died Wednesday, June 3, 2015. She was a native of Houma, LA and resident of Houma, LA. Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 4, 2015 from 5:00 - 9:00 p.m and on Friday, June 5, 2015 from 9:00 a.m. until service time at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. Funeral Service will be held on Friday, June 5, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. Burial: Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Cemetery. She is survived by her, sons, Bradly (Renee) Lirette and Chad (Tesia) Smith step-son, John (Gladys) Smith daughters, Jennifer (Timothy) Jenkins and Eva (Jerome) Bogen step-daughter, Tara (Lindy) Jordan grandchildren, Hunter and Harley Jenkins, Brianna Bogen, Tanner Smith step-grandchildren, Dustin Jordan, Destiny Bogen and Dylan Freyou sisters, Brenda Jackson and Myrna Millard brothers, William, Joseph and James Thomas numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her, husband, John William Smith parents, John and Marion Thomas. Barbara was a loving mother and grandmother. She always put others ahead of herself. She also cherished spending time with her grandchildren and the rest of her family.
