Greg James LeBlanc, 38, died Tuesday, May 19, 2015 at 07:22 AM. He was a native of Chauvin and resident of Houma, LA. Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 21, 2015 from 5:00 PM - 9:00 PM at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. and Friday, May 22, 2015 at 9:00 AM until funeral time at St. Joseph Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM. Burial will be held in St. Joseph Catholic Church Cemetery. He is survived by his, mother, Elene Robichaux Matherne and husband, Shane Paul Matherne; father, Danny John LeBlanc; companion, Christina Anne Carrere; sons, Caleb Charles LeBlanc, and Luke James LeBlanc; daughter, Jenna Claire LeBlanc; stepchildren, Elizabeth Ashley and Brennan Kelly Dupre; brother, Ryan Michael LeBlanc; grandparents, Julius Sr. "Nunu" and Maria "Mary" Mayer Robichaux, and Joyce LeBlanc DeHart. He was preceded in death by his, brother, Derek John LeBlanc; grandfather, Leroy LeBlanc; step grandfather, Leroy DeHart; uncle, Julius Robichaux, Jr. He was a loving companion, son and father. Greg was an avid fisherman, hunter and shrimper. He enjoy spending time with his family and friends. He was employed with GOM Fabricators and also worked for Crown Oilfield Service for many years. He will always be loved and greatly missed by all.
