Wallace Augustin Thibodaux, 89, died Sunday, May 3, 2015 at 08:02 PM. He was a native of Bourg, LA and resident of Bourg, LA. Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 9, 2015 from 8:00 AM until funeral time at St. Ann Catholic Church. A Military Service will be held at 9:00 AM and A Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM at St. Ann Catholic Church. Burial will be held St. Louis Catholic Church Cemetery He is survived by his, stepchildren, Ruth L. Ziepke, and Bobby W. Ledet and wife, Norma; brother, Kervin Thibodeaux; sister-in-laws, Audrey and Rosella Thibodeaux; grandchildren, Melissa Hutchinson and husband, Angelo, Melody Arceneaux and husband, Gerald, Scott Ziepke and wife, Anne, Cory Ledet and wife, Tracy, and Christy Owen and husband, Tom; and 14 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife of 37 years, Enola Porche Thibodaux; parents, Clevins Wally and Margette LeBouef Thibodaux; son-in-law, Paul Ziepke; brothers, Evans, Aaron and Willard Thibodeaux; sister, Rita Boudreaux and husband, George; sister-in-law, Carol Ann Thibodeaux. He was a parishioner of St. Bernadette Catholic Church for many years and currently attending St. Ann Catholic Church. Wallace was a caring father to his wife’s children and grandchildren. He never met a stranger and enjoyed nothing more than drinking coffee and speaking with his family and friends. He will be greatly missed.
