David Edward Armstrong, 47, died Saturday, April 25, 2015. He was a native of Houma, LA and resident of Houma, LA. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 29, 2015 from 6:00 until 9:00 p.m. and Thursday, April 30, 2015 from 8:00 a.m until service time at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, April 30, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. Burial: St. Francis de Sales Cemetery #2 He is survived by his sisters, Beulah “Tootie” Crochet (Lee), Kay Giroir (Don) and Jamie F. Crowley, brother, Mack Carmichael (Deana) sister-in-law, Darlene Davis, nieces, Danielle Duplantis, Wendy Hirsch, Lindsey Carmichael, nephews, Justin Davis, Ryan Giroir, Jake Carmichael and numerous other great nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. David was also survived by his beloved pet dogs and companions, Gingerbread and Yodee. He was preceded in death by his parents, James E. and Norma Ann Thibodeaux Armstrong, brother, James Kent Davis, sisters, Robin and Carla Carmichael. David was an avid fisherman and hunter. His favorite fishing and hunting buddy was Trent Moore.
