Walterine Fonseca

Walterine Agnes Hebert Fonseca, 90, a native and resident of Houma, died Tuesday, Dec. 30, 2008 at 9:27 p.m. Visitation will be Friday from 5 to 9 p.m. and Saturday from 8 a.m. until funeral time at the Chauvin Funeral Home Chapel. Liturgy service will be Saturday at 10 a.m. at the chapel, with burial in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery #2. She is survived by her four daughters, Gloria Fonseca Morris, Patricia Fonseca Trahan, Gayle Fonseca Granger and Beatrice Fonseca Boudreaux; a sister, Ruby Hebert Lecompte; 11 grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, eight step-great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alton Fonseca; parents, Amadeo Hebert and Marcelline Marcel Hebert; a daughter, Lorena Fonseca Trahan; two brothers, Percey and Howard Hebert, and four grandchildren. She was a homemaker, and a parishioner at Maria Immacolata Church
