Maxine Burns

Maxine Bertha Burns, 82, died Wednesday, April 8, 2015 at 03:50 PM. She was a native of New Orleans, LA and resident of Houma, LA. Private services will be held by the family. She is survived by her, Son: Robert Burns III and wife Scooter, Daughter: Julie Burns Calhoun and husband Tom, Brother: Joseph Margavio and wife Mary, Grandchildren: Hana, Ross, and Hailey Calhoun, and She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her, Spouse: Robert Oliver Burns Jr., Parents: Joseph Margavio and Bertha Elizabeth Barthe Margavio Brothers: Johnny Margavio and George Margavio, She was a member of the Red Hats in Pass Christian, MS and Houma, LA. She was an avid gardener in Pass Christian, MS. She was a volunteer at 1st Baptist Pre School of Houma, LA and worked many years at Tulane Medical Center in New Orleans, LA. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
