Felecie Duet King, 80, a native and resident of Houma, died at 11:10 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 14, 2008.
Funeral service was held at 1 p.m. today at St. Francis de Sales Cathedral, with burial in Terrebonne Memorial Park Cemetery.
She is survived by two sons, E. Peter King Jr. and wife, Darlene Whatley King, of Houma, and Michael Philip King and wife, Brenda King, of Houma; one daughter, Cindy King Duplantis and husband, Mark J. Duplantis, of Houma; one brother, Paul Duet and wife, Lauralee, of Houma; two sisters, Rita D. Adams and Eleanor D. Savoie of Houma; one son-in-law, Glenn Michael Fanguy Sr.; seven grandchildren, Kristie Jo King, Mark Dorman King and wife, Michelle, Lisa King, Michael King Jr., Donna Faye King, Becky Lee Fanguy and Patty Ann Fanguy; and five great-grandchildren, Erika Jo, Hayden Peter, Courtney Eaton, Kylie Paige King and Emmi Faye King.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Elphie Peter King Sr.; her parents, Andrew Jackson Duet and Azile Eymard Duet; three brothers, Steve Duet Sr., Lee Duet and Collins Duet; one sister, Malvina D. Theriot; and one grandson, Glenn Michael Fanguy Jr.
She was a parishioner of St. Francis de Sales Cathedral.
