Mary “Dus” L. Gregoire

Mary “Dus” L. Gregoire, 88, a native and resident of Dulac, died at 3:45 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 13, 2008. Visitation will be 3 to 9 p.m. Monday and 3 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Chauvin Funeral Home. Visitation will also be from 9 a.m. to funeral time Wednesday at Holy Family Catholic Church. Mass will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church, with burial in St. Eloi Cemetery in Dularge. She is survived by three daughters, Pearly Parfait, Gertie Pierre and Lydia Duthu and husband, Ted; four sons, Paul “T-Boy” Gregoire Sr., Antoine “T-Man” Gregoire Sr., Joseph “NuNu” Gregoire and Julius Gregoire and wife, Frances; 26 grandchildren; 61 great-grandchildren; and 28 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Evelina Solet Lodrigue; her husband, Albert Gregoire Jr.; one daughter, Mary “Meon” Trosclair; one brother, Antoine Lodrigue; three sisters, Stella Verdin, Margie Gregoire and an infant sister; one grandson, Mitch Gregoire; and two great-granddaughters, Tiffany Billiot and Madison Richoux. She was a parishioner of Holy Family Catholic Church. She was a homemaker and a wonderful mother and grandmother.
