Una Mae Bergeron Champagne, 96, died Sunday, March 15, 2015 at 02:10 AM.
She was a native of Houma, LA and resident of Houma, LA.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 20, 2015 from 9:00 to noon at Maria Immacolata Catholic Church with a Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, March 20, 2015 at 12:10pm at Maria Immacolata Catholic Church.
Burial: St. Francis de Sales Cemetery #2.
She is survived by her,
Sons: Ronald Champagne and wife Cheryl of St. Clair Shores, Michigan,
Donald Champagne and wife Rosie, James Champagne and wife Jennifer,
and Stephen Champagne and wife Charlotte, all of Houma LA,
Daughters: Iris Samanie and and Mary Ann Champagne,
Grandchildren: Jeff Champagne, Kori Glentzer and husband John, Tonya Rodriguez and husband Francisco, Donald Champagne Jr. and fiancé' Holly, Chrissie Legendre and husband Kyle, Jami Champagne,
James Paul Champagne, Julie Morgan and husband Brady, John Champagne and wife Lindsey, Stacy Champagne and wife Celeste, Scott Champagne,
Danielle Toups and fiance' Brad Boudreaux, Michelle Toups and companion Dennis Naquin, Kevin Samanie and wife Ashley, and Kristy Samanie and fiance' Joshua Bridges,
She is also survived by 26 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her,

Parents: Joseph A. Bergeron and Cecile Stevens Bergeron
Brothers: Joseph Nelson Bergeron and Robert Bergeron,
Sister: Mary Ellen Porche, and
Son-in-Law: Wayne Samanie.
She was a lifelong member of St. Francis De Sales Catholic Daughters of America, Court Cardinal Gibbons #77 where she served as recording secretary and membership chairperson. She also was a member of the Terrebonne Historical and Cultural Society, Inc. She was one of the founding members of the Maria Immacolata Ladies Alter Society.
She graduated from St. Francis De Sales Academy in 1936.
The family would like to thank Haydel Hospice for their excellent care given our Mother especially by Christy Griffin, Laura Champagne, and Germaine Caldwell.
