Bertha LeCompte

Bertha Mae Pellegrin LeCompte, 90, went to join her family in heaven on Sunday, March 15, 2015. She was a native and resident of Chauvin, LA. Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 19, 2015 from 9:00AM until service time at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Chauvin, LA. Funeral Mass will be at 11:00AM, Thursday, March 19, 2015 at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. She is survived by her Husband, Aubrey J. LeCompte, Children, Linda and husband, Larry Chauvin, Daniel LeCompte, Dorian and husband Richard Breaux, Corine and husband John Ellis, Timothy and wife Lorita LeCompte, and John J. LeCompte Grandchildren: 15 Great Grandchildren: 25 Great Great Grandchildren: 6 She was preceded in death by her, Parents, Linest M. Pellegrin and Burda “Birdie” Babin Pellegrin, Siblings, Walterine Pellegrin, Delores and husband U.J. Lirette, Velma and husband Willard LeBeouf, Myron Pellegrin, Vernal Pellegrin, Elmer and wife Nita Pellegrin, Grandson, Randy Chauvin. He was a parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church. She loved to cook, crochet, crafts and taking care of her family. Thanks to Terrebonne Home Care, Hospice of South Louisiana, Dr. Dupont, Linda Labat, Lynette Dupre and Winnie Thibodeaux.
