Kirk Robichaux

Kirk Joseph Robichaux, 58, died Monday, March 9, 2015 at 04:40 AM. He was a native and resident of Houma, LA. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 10, 2015 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. and Wednesday, March 11, 2015 at 10:00 AM until funeral time at St. Bernadette Soubirous Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM. With private burial at a later date. He is survived by his, wife of 40 years, Janet Ann R. Robichaux; daughters, Nikki Leigh Robichaux, and Becki Jo R. Hill and husband, Tyler; brothers, Ronnie and Laban "L.J." Robichaux; sisters, Jeanne R. Dupre and husband, Dave, Veronica R. McLemore and husband, James, and Suzette R. Vetter; granddaughter, Lacie Redmon; father-in-law, Roy Robichaux; numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his, parents, Laban Anthony Sr. and Violet Lirette Robichaux; mother-in-law, Mary Neil Robichaux; sister-in-law, Janice Robichaux Babin. He was a parishioner of St. Bernadette Soubirous Catholic Church. He retired from Weatherford after 28 years of service as a salesman. He enjoyed golfing, boating and woodwork. He was always available to lend a hand to family, friends and his community. He was a devoted Christian, loving husband and father. In lieu of flowers the family would greatly appreciate donations to The Alzheimer’s Association in care of “Kirk’s Krewe” at 3445 N. Causeway Blvd., Suite 902, Metairie, LA 70002.
