John Levron

John P. Levron, Sr. passed away Wednesday December 10, 2008, at the War Veterans Home in Reserve,La. at the age of 82. John was a life long resident of Schriever, LA. He served in the army for 10 years and was a sergeant at the end of his tour. He was a WWII veteran and received several medals of honor while serving his time. Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Eunice Simoneaux Levron. Together they have four children. John Peter Levron, Jr.—husband of Katrina B. Levron, Linda L. Blanchard—wife of Larry Blanchard and Alice L. Blanchard; one brother, Rodney Levron and one sister Stella Peltier; eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Mr. Levron is proceeded death by his son Larry Levron, his parents, four brothers and one sister. Services will be held at St. Joseph Co- Cathedral in Thibodaux, LA. Visitations will be 9:00 a.m. till service time on Saturday December 13, 2008. Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11:00 a.m on Saturday December 13, 2008 with burial at St. Bridget Cemetery.
