Wilton “Bootsie” Joseph Guy, Sr., 81, died Wednesday, March 4, 2015 at 1:07 AM. He was a native and resident of Chauvin, LA. Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 5, 2015 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. and Friday, March 6, 2015 at 9:30 AM until funeral time at St. Joseph Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12:00 PM. Burial will be held in St. Joseph Catholic Church Cemetery. He is survived by his, Companion of 30 years, Juanita Kraemer Hebert; son, Wilton Joseph Guy, Jr. and wife, Dawn; daughters, Maxine Marie G. Voisin and companion, Nicky Thibodeaux, and Christine Marie G. Scott; stepsons, Lucius Hebert, Jr. and wife, Amenia Louise, and Allen Hebert; stepdaughters, Jacinta Hebert and companion, Craig, Anita H. Rios and husband, Edgar, Lucinda H. Bouquet and husband, Clint Sr., Lucy H. Merrit and husband, Kirk, and Annabel H. Kinard and husband, Mike; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his, wife of 32 years, Rosalie Authement Guy; parents, Arthur and Laura Domangue Guise; son-in-law, Johnny Voisin; brothers, Arthur Guise Jr.,Wilson Sr. and Ernest Guy; sisters,Bessie and Nina Guise, Fannie G. White and Nell G. Dupre. He was a parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, dancing and playing bingo. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather.
