Mark Lee Harper, 46, a native of Houma and resident of New Orleans, died at 8:07 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 3, 2008.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to funeral time Wednesday at Maria Immacolata Catholic Church in Houma. Mass will be at 10 a.m. at the church with burial in the St. Francis de Sales #2 Cemetery in Houma.
He is survived by his mother, Mary Jude Fakier Serra, and stepfather, John Serra; father, Wayne L. Harper, and stepmother, Anita Harper; two sisters, Diane Harper Carmouche and husband, Jimbo, and Deborah Harper Christian and husband, Phil; stepsister, Jennifer Landry, and husband, John; two stepbrothers, Bret Cuneo and wife, Penny, and Darren Cuneo; grandmother, Hilda Harper; four nephews, Hunter Logan, Carmouche Christian, Harper Christian and Connor Cuneo; three nieces, Victoria Carmouche, Jade Cuneo and Jannan Cuneo.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, George and Flossie Fakier, and Peter Harper; two cousins, George Cobb and Glenn Fakier.
He was employed with Home Depot in the paint department in New Orleans and was a 1980 graduate of Vandebilt Catholic High School.
