Rip was a parishioner of St. Ann Catholic Church. He was a loving and devoted husband and father to his own and many others. He was a Corporal in the United States Army. A retired oil field worker and fence contractor at Griffin Fence Co. He enjoyed his family time, trawling, duck carving, fishing and was a whittler of wood. He could fix anything and if he didn’t have the part he would make it. He was very witty and had the best sense of humor. No one would leave his presence without a smile or laughter.
