Delia Josephine Marcel, 88, died peacefully at her home on January 30, 2015 at 11:10 AM. Visitation will be held Monday, February 2, 2015 from 10:00 AM until funeral time at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, February 2, 2015 at 11:00 AM at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Burial: Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Cemetery. She is survived by her, Her loving husband of 69 years, Henry Marcel; Sons: Ken Marcel and wife, Janelle Derouen Marcel, and Buddy Marcel and wife, Nancy Adams Marcel; Daughters: Ellen M. LeBlanc and husband, Eddie LeBlanc and Gina Marcel; 13 grandchildren: Melissa Kimball, Kelly Potier, Jaime Foster, Brandi LeBlanc, Nicholas LeBlanc, Angel Marcel, Chad Marcel, Crystal Gros, Scott LeBlanc, Brandi Authement, April Theriot, Lexie LeBlanc, Linsi Samanie; 29 great grandchildren: Nicole, Zach, Kristi, Brooke, Miranda, Connor, Abigail, Emily, Hayden, Wyatt, Jordan, Brady, Reese, Hallie, Avery, Tyler, Jacob, Trevor, Kelsi, Kami, Kati, Britney, Madi, Elizabeth, Zoey, Dayton, Maizy, Gaige and Kensi and 5 great-great grandchildren: Kennedi, Camden, Landon, Nyla and Cruz; Sister: Brunella Henry Rhodes. She was preceded in death by: Son: James Marcel; Mother: Victoria Nelton Henry and Father: Ernest Henry. Delia was a parishioner of Holy Rosary Church. She always put others first. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend. Delia Henry Marcel will be greatly missed but never forgotten. The family gives a special thanks to the many people who provided Delia and her family with prayers, comfort and support.
