Elizabeth Mary Bourg Rogers, 85, a native of Bourg and resident of Houma, died at 2:50 a.m. Monday, Nov. 17, 2008.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Chauvin Funeral Home and from 9 a.m. to funeral time Thursday at St. Ann Catholic Church. Mass will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the church, with burial in the church cemetery.
She is survived by one son, Philip Rogers of Houma; one daughter, Lua R. Raziano and husband, Rosario “Roy” of Destrehan; two sisters, Dorothy B. Rogers of Bourg and Dolores B. Charpentier of Houma; three grandchildren, Amy Elizabeth Raziano Callaghan, Todd Michael Raziano and Kelli Michelle Roziano Valencia; and two great-grandchildren, Miguel Valencia and Carolina Valencia.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Claude Paul Rogers; and her parents, Elie Paul Bourg and Celina Blanchard Bourg.
She was a retired greenhouse helper with TARC for 15 years and a member of the American Legion Auxiliary.
She was a parishioner of Maria Immacolata Catholic Church.
