Chad Labat

Chad Michael Labat, 34, died Saturday, January 3, 2015 at 10:30 PM. He was a native of Houma, LA and resident of Houma, LA. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 7, 2015 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Chauvin Funeral Home with a private burial. He is survived by his, Parents, David and Becky Labat, Brother, Jason Labat, Sons, Cody Smith, Nicholas Hernandez and Daughter, Isabelle Eschete and Grandmother, Hazel Hale. He was preceded in death by his, Grandfather, Edward Hale, Grandparents, Curren and Isabel Labat, Uncles, Jerry Labat and Larry Hale and Cousin, Adam Hale. Chad was a graduate of Nicholls State University where he studied art and graphic design. Chad was a loving father, beloved son, and caring brother. He had a zest for life and a love of people. Loved ones described him as kind hearted. He will be loved and missed forever.
