Harold Ardoin

Harold “Pee Wee” Joseph Ardoin Sr., 82, a native and resident of Houma, died at 7:43 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 12, 2008. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to funeral time Saturday at Chauvin Funeral Home. Prayer service will be at 11:30 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home chapel, with burial in St. Elie Cemetery. He is survived by two sons, Harold J. Ardoin Jr. and wife, Marguerite, of Houma, and Robert “Bobby” Ardoin and wife, Linda, of Thibodaux; two daughters, Ruth Ann Pitre and husband, Daniel J., of Houma and Hope Gregoire and husband, Beau, of Thibodaux; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Florence Lillian Hebert Ardoin; his parents, Dallas Jules Ardoin and Sedonia Marie Falterman Ardoin; one son, Michael James Ardoin; one daughter, Patricia Ann Ardoin; two brothers, Bill Ardoin and Chester Ardoin; and one sister, Helen Trahan. He was a retired delivery man with Fanguy Brothers and a parishioner of St. Francis de Sales Cathedral.
