Gladys Morgan

Gladys Cormier Morgan, 86, died at home Wednesday, December 31, 2014. She was a native of Chauvin and resident of Jeanerette, LA. Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 4, 2015 from 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. and Monday, January 5, 2015 at 8:00 AM until funeral time. Funeral Service to be held at 10:00 AM at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. Burial: St. Joseph Catholic Church Cemetery, Chauvin, LA. She is survived by her, sons, Arthur "Keith" Morgan and wife, Karen, Jeanerette, LA; daughter-in-law, Tina Kidd Morgan; granddaughter, Rebecca Marie Morgan; grandsons, Jarred and Zachary Slaughter, and Dylan and Matthew Morgan; great-grandchildren, Brylee and Graham Slaughter; sister, Agnes Cormier Harrington. She was preceded in death by her, Parents, Leussard Cormier, and Clothilde Weekly Lognoin; son, Stanford "Scott" Morgan; brothers, Chester, J.B., Curtis, Patrick, Leussard Jr., Jennis "Mano", Ray Allen and Carrol Cormier; sisters, Lena C. Guillory and Gracie C. Leleux. She was a memberof Little Caillou Baptist Church. She enjoyed bingo and Cajun music. She was a member of the American Legion. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a grandmother to everyone and never knew a stranger. She will be greatly missed.
