Ruth Rita Guidry Landry

Ruth Rita Guidry Landry, 77, a native and resident of Houma, died at 10:46 a.m. Monday, Nov. 10, 2008. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to funeral time Wednesday at St. Gregory Barbarigo Catholic Church. Mass will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church, with burial in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 2. She is survived by three sons, Barry Landry and wife, Karen, Patrick Landry and wife, Celeste, of Houma, and Greg Landry and wife, Carissa, of Bossier City; three daughters, Debbie Galbreath, Karla Basco and Dina Landry of Houma; pet Roscoe; one sister, Yvette Boudreaux of Houma; 13 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Felix Wilbert Landry; her parents, Anthony Joseph Guidry and Argentine Marie Chaisson Guidry; and one sister, Dolly Poiencot. She was a homemaker and a parishioner of St. Gregory Barbarigo Catholic Church.
