Shirley Henry

Shirley Theresa Henry, 89, died Saturday, December 13, 2014. She was a native of Houma, LA and resident of Houma, LA. Visitation will be held on from at Tuesday, December 16, 2014 from 9:30am to 12:30pm at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, December 16, 2014 at 1:00pm at St. Gregory Barbarigo Catholic Church. Burial: St. Francis de Sales Cemetery #1. She is survived by her, Sons: James "Jimmy" C. Henry and Chris T. Henry and wife Lauren, Daughters: Jane Authement and Husband Ronnie,and Patricia A. Henry, She is survived by 12 grandchildren and 14 Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her, Spouse: Joseph Constant Henry Jr., Parents: Clovis Guidry and Manila Guidry, Brothers: James C. Guidry and Floyd Guidry, Sister: Ruby Bourg, Verda Dauterive and Merle Williams. She enjoyed working with her hands and was the owner of Shirley's Ceramics which was located 310 Williams Avenue in Houma Louisiana. The family would like to thanks Heritage Manor and their staff for all their kindness and care. She was a volunteer for St. Gregory Catholic Church in Houma. She was also a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary. In lieu of flowers the family request donations to be made to Saint Jude's Children's Hospital.
