Visitation will be held on Monday, December 15, 2014 from 9:00am to 11:00am at St. Francis de Sales Cathedral. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, December 15, 2014 at 11:00am at St. Francis de Sales Cathedral. Burial: St. Francis de Sales Cemetery #2. Wright of Fort Myers FL, and Aimee Chauvin Lasseigne and husband Dr. Richard Lasseigne Jr. of Thibodaux LA, Brother-in-Law: Thomas Robichaux and wife Rita Robichaux of Raceland LA, Grandchildren: Michael Maier, Michelle Maier Siegel, Mark Maier, Jeannine Gesser Ford, Margaret Wright, Elizabeth Wright, William Wright, Dr. Brad Chauvin, Richard Lasseigne III, Jeremy Lasseigne, and Jeffrey Lasseigne, Great Grandchildren: Mark Anthony Maier II, Matthew Maier, Michael Maier, Samantha Siegel,Eric Thomas Chauvin II, Adysen Chauvin, Landon Lasseigne, and Noah Lasseigne. He loved to travel to in his motor home. He loved volunteering for the Catholic Churches and schools. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, especially his Wednesday Burger King buddies. He was a member of the VFW and Knights of Columbus. For many years he attended the yearly reunions with his Army friends and colleagues.
