Walter Robicheaux

Walter Joseph Robicheaux, 67, died Sunday, December 7, 2014. He was a native of Franklin, LA and resident of Houma, LA. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 10, 2014 from 4:00 PM until services begin at 8:30 PM at Chauvin Funeral Home. He is survived by his, Children, Jeffrey M. Robicheaux and wife Kay Robicheaux, Jonathan Penton-Robicheaux and husband Derek Penton-Robicheaux and Beth Robicheaux Canter and husband Fred Canter, Grandchildren, Jadyn Robicheaux and step granddaughter, Chassity Peroyea, Brooke and Mason Canter, He was preceded in death by his, Parents, Willie J Robicheaux, Sr and Rosa Battaglia Robicheaux, Brother, Willie Robicheaux, Jr Sister, Arlene Robicheaux Norris Walter retired from South Central Bell after 35 years of service. He was an active member of The Telephone Pioneers where he was just inducted as the upcoming president. Walter was an avid hunter and fisherman and spent a lot of time at his camp in Greensburg. He loved to dance, keep people laughing, and never met a stranger. He loved his family and grandchildren dearly and he will be missed by many friends and family.
