Sharon Prejean

Sharon Ann Prejean, 54, died Thursday, November 20, 2014 . She was a native of Clinton, LA and resident of Houma, LA. Visitation will be held on Friday, November 21, 2014 from 4:00 to 8:30pm with a Rosary to be recited at 8:30pm followed by the conclusion of Friday night's visitation. at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. Saturday, November 22, 2014 from 8:00am to 10:00am at St. Bernadette Soubirous Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, November 22, 2014 at 10:00am at St. Bernadette Soubirous Catholic Church. There will be a private burial at Greensburg Cemetery in Greensburg Louisiana. She is survived by her, Parents, James Gordon Prejean and Betty Carruth Prejean, Sister, Rose Prejean Rollins and husband William "Bill" Rollins, Niece, Alex Kayen Rollins, Nephew, Drake Gordon Rollins and his fiance Haylie Chauvin, Great Nephew, Dillon James Rollins. She was preceded in death by her, Grandparents, James Dillon Carruth and Ella Sanders Carruth and Emile Travis Prejean, Jr and Beulah Guerin Prejean She was a parishioner of St. Bernadette Soubirous Catholic Church. Sharon was employed by T.G.M.C. for 18 years in the Radiology Department. She truly loved being a mentor to many radiology students. Each student made her feel truly appreciated. She was also a member of the Krewe of Aphrodite. Sharon truly loved being involved in the club. Mardi Gras and Christmas were a true love of hers; but most of all her true love was her family and friends. Anyone who ever met her would love her. The family would like to express their sincere thanks to all who loved her and helped care for her. In lieu of flowers the family ask that donations be made in her memory for the research and cure for Ovarian Cancer.
