Marjorie Belanger, 95, died Sunday, November 16, 2014 at 05:10 PM. She was a native of Terrebonne Parish, LA and resident of Houma, LA. Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 22, 2014 from 10:00am to noon. at St. Francis de Sales Cathedral. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, November 22, 2014 at Noon at St. Francis de Sales Cathedral. Burial: Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Cemetery. She is survived by her, Son: Marvin Belanger and wife Kim Belanger, Daughter: Mary Anne Hipp and late husband Donovan Hipp, Grandchildren: Amy Hipp Nolan and husband Martin, Kathryn Belanger, Anne Belanger Martinez and Allison Belanger James and husband Michael James, Great grandchildren: Abigail Nolan and Zoe Nolan, Makenzie James, Preston James, Carl James, and Madelynn James. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her, Spouse: Allen Belanger, Parents: Henry Clay LeCompte and Celeste LeCompte Brothers: Anthony and Wiley LeCompte Sisters: Walterine Palestina and Laura Babin She was a parishioner of St. Francis de Sales Cathedral . Her family was the center of her life. She was a longtime employee of Fakier Jewelry. The family deeply appreciates the loving care she received from Heritage Manor, and all of her caregivers; Brenda Woods, Marian Joseph, Betty Goudy, Mary Myles, Delores Smith, and all of her medical staff who were instrumental in her care. She will be missed dearly by her family and friends. In lieu of flowers, the family ask for donations to be made to Louis Infant Center at P.O. Box 2866, Houma LA 70361.
