Jordan Joseph Mayon, 19, died Monday, November 10, 2014. He was a native of Morgan City, LA and resident of Houma, LA. Visitation will be held on Friday, November 14, 2014 from 9:00am to noon. at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. Liturgy of the Word will be held on Friday, November 14, 2014 at Noon. at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. He is survived by his, Mother and Step Father: JoAnna and Donnie Landry Jr., Father: Jeffery Mayon, Sisters: Jayna Mayon and Kayla Freeman, Niece and Nephew: Khali and Khallen Freeman, Grandparents: Rita and Mike Chatsko, Donna and Bill Tarpley, Louis Mayon and late wife Eva, Godparents: Bobbie Tarpley, Billie Tarpley Folse, Perry Rogers, Daniel Solar, and Traci Bland Daigle. Great Grandparents: Cleveland Sr. and Shirley Ohmer, Jordan is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his, Grandparents: Walt D. Tarpley, Oliver and Edna Roy, Helen and Phillip Ohmer, Louis Sr. and Celine Mayon, He was a parishioner of St. Bernadette Soubirous Catholic Church. Cenac Marine (less than one year). He was a graduate of H.L. Bourgeois High School class of 2014. He loved the outdoors and being with his family and friends. He was always seen with a smile on his face and telling jokes. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that outdoor plants to be sent.
