Schira Lyons Ott, 69, died Thursday, October 30, 2014.
She was a native of Houma, LA and resident of Little Rock , AR.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 4, 2014 from 5:00pm to 9:00pm at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. and Wednesday, November 5, 2014 from 8:30am to 10:30am at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, November 5, 2014 at 10:30am at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church.

She is survived by her,
Mother: Lois Chauvin Stevens,
Daughters: Nicole Ott Knight and husband Ron, and Michelle Ott Scoggins and husband Steven,
Grandchildren: Brandon, Samantha, and Lizzy Knight,
Daniel and Hannah Scoggins,
Uncle: Tillman Chauvin,

She was a parishioner of Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church.
Schira Ott was a Elementary School teacher who retired after nearly two decades of service.
She was an active member of the Bayou Civitan Club, and past Governor of the Magnolia District. She was an active member of Kappa Kappa Iota and the Convention and Visitors Bureau of Houma LA. She was on the Board of Southdown Plantation in Houma LA and enjoyed volunteering for the Special Olympics.
Schira Ott was also a past member of the Crewe of Hyacinthians.
Her family and friends were an important part of her life. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.
