Mable Mary Jumonville Baio

Mable Mary Jumonville Baio, 99, a native of Plaquemine and resident of Houma, died at 12:01 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 9, 2008. Visitation will be from 8:30 a.m. to funeral time Monday at Chauvin Funeral Home. Mass will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home chapel, with burial in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 2. She is survived by one son, Alphonse Baio and wife, Roberta, of Houma; two daughters, Mable M. Moore and husband, Edward, and Marie Louise Richardson and husband, Sam, of Houma; two daughters-in-law, Patricia Baio of Texas and Pat Baio Mella of Quitman; eight grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Antoino Baio; her parents, Coloun Jumonville and Frances T. Garcia Jumonville; three sons, Lionel, Anthony and Howard Baio; and one sister, Nettie Savoy. She was a homemaker.
