Josephine “JoJo” Marie Martin Stoufflet

Josephine “JoJo” Marie Martin Stoufflet, 93, a native of Chauvin and resident of Bourg, died at 12:35 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 8, 2008. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to funeral time Friday at Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Mass will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the church, with burial in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 2. She is survived by one daughter, Betty S. Hebert and husband, Huey Hebert Sr. of Houma; one brother, Earl Chauvin of Chauvin; four sisters, Ola Crochet of Houma, Lois Crochet of Chauvin, Reta Ledet of Houma and Elfie Savoie of Larose; 10 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Weldon James Stoufflet Sr.; her parents, Alfred Martin and Minnie LeBlanc Martin; two sons, Weldon Stoufflet Jr. and Melvin Anthony “Tony” Stoufflet; two daughters, Cheri Lynn Guidry and Lana Mary Stoufflet; one grandson, Huey Hebert Jr.; and one brother, Lindsey Chau-vin.
