David Gerard Brien

David Gerard Brien entered his eternal rest at the age of 44 years. Son of Lawrence Francis Brien and Margaret Cavanaugh Brien of Bayou Blue, LA; brother of Stanley Brien and wife Laura, and Randy Brien of New Orleans, LA; also survived by a nephew Zachary Brien, numerous aunts and uncles and a host of cousins, collegues and dear friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Elizabeth Morillion Brien, Lance Brien and Laura Pontiff Brien, Francis Cavanaugh and Aurelia Cavanaugh. A native and resident of New Orleans, LA. He was a longtime valued Paralegal with Hailey McNanara Law Firm, an active member of SNAP, active member of Lakeview Civic Improvement Association, who believed and practiced giving back generously to the community. He will be sorely missed by all. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, October 11, 2008 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Louis Catholic Church, 2226 Bayou Blue Rd, Houma, LA 70364, with interment in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held at St. Louis Church on Friday from 6:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. and on Saturday from 8:00 A.M. until funeral time
