Marjorie “Margie” Josephine Lodrigue Gregoire, 86, a native of Dulac and resident of Houma died Sunday, Oct. 5, 2008.
Visitation will be from 4 to 9 p.m. today at Chauvin Funeral Home and from 8:30 a.m. to funeral time Wednesday at Holy Family Catholic Church. Mass will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church, with burial in St. Eloi Cemetery.
She is survived by four sons, Antoine “Kom” Gregoire and wife, Linda, Ernest Leroy Gregoire, John Terry Gregoire of Dulac and Paul “Black” M. Gregoire and companion, Karen, of Gray; three daughters, Mary Dion of Dulac, Dorothy “Belle” Billiot and husband, Curtis, of Bayou Blue, and Shirley Bruce and husband, Bobby, of Cut Off; one sister, Mary Gregoire of Houma; 17 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Morris Joseph Gregoire; her parents, Joseph L. Lodrigue and Eveline Solet Lodrigue; one daughter, Carrie Gregoire; one brother, Antoine Lodrigue; one sister, Stella Verdin; one son-in-law, Paul Elton Dion; eight grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
She was a homemaker and a parishioner of Holy Family Catholic Church.
