Shirley Jean Smith, 77, died Monday, October 6, 2014 at 12:35 PM. She was a native of Ackerman, Miss. and resident of Bourg, LA. There will be a Graveside Service at New Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery in Arcadia LA on Thursday October 9th, 2014. She is survived by her Sisters: Bobbie Frances Weaver and husband Albert, Carolyn Childress Bullard and husband Steve, Patricia Ann Childress, and Judy Childress, Nieces and Nephews: Russ and Benji Weaver, and Elllen Octavia Erhard and husband Jason. She was preceded in death by her Spouse: Shelton Smith Jr., Parents: Obie and Bertha Octavia Childress, and Sister: Margarett Goss.
